Students are challenged with 10⁹+ Team Projects, with the mission of positively affecting the lives of a billion people within 10 years. While there, I worked on decentralizing agriculture using 3D aeroponics-based urban farms.

Bioinformatics - PhD

UCL - December 2006 to October 2011

www.ucl.ac.uk

My thesis focused on building statistical energy functions to be used in decoy selection for protein folding. I worked on large (600gb+) datasets and used advanced data mining methods to extract relevant information and build statistical models of atomic interactions. I started my PhD when I was 21, and worked as a consultant in algorithmic trading at the same time.

Computer Science - BSc

UCL - September 2003 - June 2006

www.ucl.ac.uk

My undergraduate degree was in computer science, where I focused on machine learning and its application to biology. My final year project was a pharmacogenomics web service to predict HIV drug resistance. It achieve a high (87%) accuracy, better than all published methods.
